Hike to the Rechenhaus - City of Aue (Glück Auf! Explore mining history on foot)

The hike starts at the clubhouse of the mining association and leads you via Parkstraße and Erzengelweg to Rondell-Bockau. To the right, it goes across the Mulde bridge to the historic restaurant “Rechenhaus.” On the way back, you follow the Floßgrabenweg and Ricarda-Huch-Straße to the Hammerherrenhaus. Afterwards, you take Muldenstraße, Brückenstraße, Bockauer Talstraße, and Zwitterweg back to the clubhouse. The Floßgraben and the Rechenhaus were important mining engineering facilities and are now popular excursion destinations. At the Rechenhaus, the Floßgraben, built in 1559 and 15.3 km long, meets the Mulde river.
