The terrain cure trails are suitable for both experienced hikers and beginners. All terrain cure trails have the same starting and finishing point: the spa gardens in Warmbad. Although the Königsbachtal is only 2.4 kilometers long, the challenging profile means that even experienced hikers are challenged. Nevertheless, it can be completed in under an hour.
After the hiking experience, you can round off the day in the restaurant of the Silber-Therme Warmbad spa.

Directions
- Like the small forest ring, the Königsbachtalweg trail also starts at the information board between the Knappschaftsklinik and the Pawlow Hotel and leads north along Lindenallee to the Brandwald forest area. The hiking route initially leads leisurely along a grassy forest path on the side of the Königsbach stream down into the Königsbachtal valley, later descending steeply into the wild and romantic Zschopau valley. Not far from the bottom of the valley, a small stone bridge on the right allows you to cross the Königsbach. On the other bank of the stream, the path runs parallel back uphill. The diverse flora and fauna along this section of the trail make the walk a true nature experience. However, only sure-footed hikers with sturdy footwear are recommended.

Arrival by car:
You can reach Warmbad by car via the A 72 or A 4, exit Chemnitz-Süd or -Nord. Coming from Chemnitz, drive along the B 174 in the direction of Marienberg. Coming from Dresden or Freiberg, you can reach Warmbad via the B 101. From the Heinzebank junction (B 174, B 101), please follow the signs for "Kurzentrum Warmbad".
Public transportationThe Silber-Therme Warmbad can be reached by the following bus lines:
If you are coming from Dresden or Annaberg, take the T-400 line. If you are coming from Chemnitz, take the T-206, T-216, T-217, T-489 or T-499 lines. All of the above lines that serve the spa town of Warmbad will take you directly to the entrance of the Silber-Therme Warmbad.

Author´s Tip / Recommendation of the author
The Falkenhorstaussicht and the Kellerlochfelsen offer a beautiful view of the Heidelbach and Zschopau valleys from above and are therefore recommended for a detour from the circular trail.
