Lust'ger Hans and hammer mill - Jöhstadt Tourist Office (Boundless. Wild and romantic nature experiences)

You start this hike in the center of Steinbach and walk in the direction of Waldbad. From here, the yellow markings lead you along the "Am Steinbach" nature reserve through spruce and beech forests to the top of the Hirtstein. This is on the left, approx. 5 minutes from the hiking parking lot. You then follow the ridge trail markings to Schmalzgrube and the technical monument of the blast furnace. Information boards here provide information about iron processing. After the railroad bridge, turn right onto the yellow-marked hiking trail to Steinbach. After a short rest at the refuge on the Bettelmädelweg, you will return to Steinbach. Continue up the village on the LPG road (green) with a view of the village until you reach the starting point again.
