Along the route, you will encounter a unique cultural landscape in which old tunnels, historic mining towns and the tradition of the miners have remained alive to this day. Directions
- Start in Altenberg at the train station. First take Rehefelder Straße until you reach the Flemmingweg junction. Change onto this and follow the signs to Zinnwald-Georgenfeld via Schneise 31 and Georgenfelder Weg. Continue through the town center in the direction of Geising. Turn left to the visitor mine. Then continue along the Lange Gassenweg and along the Aschergraben back to Altenberg. Follow the B170 approx. 100 m downhill and turn into the area of the Arno Lippmann shaft. Follow the route along Mühlenstraße past the mining museum. Follow the mining nature trail around the Pinge and then back to Altenberg and the starting point of the tour.
