There, ski hikers and cross-country skiing enthusiasts can find trails of 3, 4, 5, 6, and 8 kilometers in length. The 8-kilometer trail connects through the forests of Muldenberg to the Kammloipe, one of the longest and snowiest trails in Saxony. Another connecting trail to the Kammloipe begins at the village square (bath pond) in Muldenberg.
When conditions permit, skiers can enjoy the groomed Sonnenloipe in the town center (entry at the gym).

Directions
- The route runs parallel to the road. The entry point in Grünbach is the central hiking parking lot at the town entrance/exit. Up to parking lot P2, classic and skating tracks run separately, then on a wide path with skating in the middle to the turning loop.

- Getting thereTake the A 72 Hof-Chemnitz, exit Plauen-East, and drive via the B 169 towards Falkenstein. In Bergen, turn right to Schöneck. In Poppengrün, first turn left to Neustadt, then right again to Grünbach.ParkingThere is a large parking lot at the trail house. Seasonal parking permits for the paid parking lots in Grünbach and Muldenberg (also for the summer season) are available at the Grünbach town administration.Public transportation
