This route is one of the most demanding road bike routes through the Thuringian Vogtland and should be ridden in stages.
It leads over smaller roads from Zeulenroda northwards and along the Weiße Elster to Greiz and back to Zeulenroda.Â

Directions
- The route starts at the information center in Zeulenroda and goes towards Pahren to Tegau. The route continues via Krölpa, Auma, Braunsdorf to Mittelpöllnitz. On secondary roads, we reach the B2, on which we ride to Gera. At the city forest, turn left onto Stadtrodaer Straße. After about 600 meters, turn right again and thus circle the city forest of Gera. Along Schloss Osterstein, we ride towards the Weiße Elster on the B 175 in the direction of Weida. After Weida, the B175 turns towards Berga, which we follow. At the entrance to Berga, keep right towards Untergeissendorf, Geissendorf, and Walthersdorf towards Neumühle an der Elster. Continue along the Weiße Elster in the direction of Greiz. In Greiz, we meet the B94, which we follow to the right towards Neukurtschau. Here, keep left on the B94 towards Zeulenroda, which we reach via Zoghaus, Naitschau, Göttendorf, and Neuärgernis. Through the town of Zeulenroda, we reach the starting point at the information center.

Additional information
- From Gera to Tegau, 277 meters of elevation gain (from 185 to 462m) must be continuously overcome! The rest of the route is a constant up and down. Therefore, the route is very challenging!
