The Oberdorf loop, as part of the main trail, is most quickly reached from the border crossing to Lipova.

For 2 km, the winter sports enthusiast moves on quiet forest paths, which also widen onto a meadow and open the view.

This loop, like all the individual loops I – VI, is part of the main trail.

The quickly traversed trail is easily accessible from Neudorf and its nearby parking lot. Mostly leading through the forest, it lets you intensely experience the silence of the snowy landscape.

The shelter “Oberdorfhütte” (9) is located on the path, the shelter “Karasekhütte” (4) lies on the border hiking trail slightly off the main trail. This name recalls the legendary robber chief Karasek, who caused trouble in the region.
