Right at the beginning of the day's stage, the three large post mills in Oderwitz are impossible to miss. The mills are still operational and can be visited.
Along the way, you will repeatedly encounter the story of the robber captain Karasek, who roamed this area.
When climbing the ridge "Großer Stein," you can once again experience the unexpected 360° panorama with its legendary views.
Afterwards, the route passes more geological features down to the former weaving village of Großschönau. The production of terry cloth and damask shaped the village for centuries. The German Damask and Terry Museum Großschönau commemorates this time and shows how the weaving expertise is still successfully applied at the location today.
From now on, the path becomes noticeably richer in elevation as well as in variety. The summit is the Lausche as the highest mountain of the Oberlausitz at 793 meters.
