Climbing the Schellenberg in Augustusburger Land from the parking lot at the cable car in Erdmannsdorf to Augustusburg Castle is challenging. On the way there, you can learn all sorts of interesting facts about hunting from the information boards along the "Bear Garden Trail". From the castle, the trail leads to the Kunnerstein, an excursion rock above the Zschopau, with a magnificent view of the Augustusburg countryside. You can then take a break and linger in the hiking hut there. The trail leads you down the mountain to the covered wooden bridge in Hennersdorf. After crossing the bridge, you return to the starting point in Erdmannsdorf via Kunnersdorf.
