The ridge on the Bohemian side
It is about 250 kilometers long in total, the "Krušnohorská magistrála" – the "Ore Mountain main route", which crosses the entire northwestern part of the Czech Republic from Cheb (Eger) in the west to Děčín (Tetschen) in the east. From there, the bike path number 23 (číslo [č.] 23) is connected since October 2014 over a distance of about 170 kilometers with the long-distance bike path Saxon Central Mountains I-6 on the German side on the return route to Jelení (Hirschenstand). Both long-distance routes are now connected as part of a European community project by twelve marked cross-border paths. A paradise for cyclists and culture enthusiasts.
