From the Spitzgrundteich dam, you circle the Spitzberg on the Elbe valley side to the Lehrpfad-Nordweg shelter. From here, it goes to the large quarry in Spitzgrund, up to the shelter “Dicke Hanne” and further through young pine growth to the Mosel meadow. Along the asphalt road, you hike towards the water reservoir, but shortly before, turn back into the forest, past the Spitzgrund spring and back to the Spitzgrundteich.
