Over the roof in the south of the Tharandt Forest to the center of Saxony

We get to know a section of the track of the first "Sachsenring", hiking through interesting nature both in the forest and across fields with informative views of the usual settlement structure in the area. Finally, we reach the center of Saxony over the highest point of the Tharandt Forest with its mighty porphyry rocks and the former thief's cave of the robber captain Lips Tulian.

Back through the beautiful Tännichttal valley, we reach again the nature experience farm Weidegut Colmnitz with numerous animals, herbal garden, barbecue and playground. On the last part of the path, the deformation of the landscape reveals the location of a former brickworks.
