Easter is the biggest Christian festival. On Easter Sunday, the Easter riders set out in processions to proclaim the joyful message of the resurrection of Christ.

The riders from the partner community Panschwitz-Kuckau ride via Alte Ziegelscheune to Crostwitz. The Easter riding begins at 12:45 pm, Crostwitz is reached at 2:15 pm. After a well-deserved refreshment, they will be farewelled in Crostwitz at 3:00 pm and will ride singing and praying through Siebitz and Schweinerden back to Panschwitz-Kuckau, where they are joyfully awaited at 5:30 pm.

Safety guidelines

Dear visitors, dear guests

Please note that horses are living beings (flight animals). Behave calmly and keep your distance from the procession for your own safety to avoid accidents. As a sign of respect for our tradition, it would be nice if you showed restraint and silence while the Easter riders' procession passes by.
