- Starting point is PULSSCHLAG Bike+Sport on the grounds of the Saigerhütte Grünthal in Olbernhau
- if you still need something before the start, or your bike needs a drop of oil or a small service, the guys know their stuff, are active in many races themselves and service partners of the Erzgebirge Bike Marathon
- physically and technically moderate GPS route on the German and Czech side
- a route peppered with fine secret single trails along the two Rauschenbach and Flaje reservoirs
