Reservoir route Sohland a.d. Spree

You start your bike route at the Sohland town hall, continue via Schloßstraße to Himmelsbrückenweg, and after about 200 meters you pass Sohland’s landmark, the Himmelsbrücke. Then continue along An der Aue path, the B98 to the Sohland reservoir, where you can take a break and, in nice weather, take advantage of the boat trip offer. Then continue to Spreetalstraße and turn right up to the first large forest area to the 5 oaks. From here, you have a unique view to the Czech border area. Now continue straight to Ellersdorfer Straße and after about 150 m turn right into Pickaer Weg. On this path is a seating area where you have earned a rest. On the signposted bike path keep right until you reach the B98, then turn left onto B98 and after about 250 m turn right into Straße am Schafberg. To the right is the natural monument Wachtberg. Upon reaching Taubenheimer Straße, turn right and ride to the Botanischer Garten bus stop. Then steer your bike left onto the bike path, shortly before the company Jokey Plastik Sohland GmbH turn right into Rosenbachstraße and after 250 m turn left onto Straße am Friedenshain, pass through the viaduct, then turn right into Schloßstraße and arrive back at the town hall.
