The route takes you through scenic regions around Plauen, the Pöhl dam to the Göltzschtal Bridge and back. This short route is something for aspiring road cyclists or those who want to warm up for a route through the Upper Vogtland. Nevertheless, the route passes some of Vogtland's most beautiful sights.

Directions

The start of the road bike route is the Upper Station in Plauen. The route goes through the city (Chrischwitz) towards Neuensalz, through Thoßfell to Pfaffengrün. After passing Buchwald and Lauschgrün, it goes over the market of Netzschkau towards the Göltzschtal Bridge. From there back to Netzschkau, continuing towards Kleingera, Sachswitz to Elsterberg, Cunsdorf towards Schöpsdrehe shortly before Plauen. At the roundabout in Schöpsdrehe, you then head back towards the city center and return to the starting point in Plauen.

Getting there
Plauen can be reached via the A72 or the A9 exit Schleiz, then the B282 and the B92.
