Through the Tharandt Forest, along historic routes, the Saxon Pilgrimage Way now runs again and is crossed in the opposite direction by the Holy Way, which originally connected Bohemia with the grave of the Holy Bishop Benno in Meißen, before his bones were taken to Munich during the Reformation. In addition to stamp stations in Grillenburg and Fördergersdorf as well as the Fördergersdorf church and pilgrim hostel in the parsonage, there are also original preserved route sections and historical witnesses along the path.

- From the Dome hall Tharandt you follow the cycle path along Silberstraße (D4) initially to Fördergersdorf, where you can see the church with a late Gothic carved altar and medieval frescoes. Over the Saxon Pilgrimage Way/Holy Way along the Prince's Path, continue hiking via Spechtshausen to Grillenburg. On the return to Tharandt, follow the hiking trail marking with the yellow stripe.
