Dark forests, beautiful mountain meadows, floodplains, river valleys and raised bogs, but also idyllic mining villages with traditional handicrafts offer plenty of interesting discoveries for nature lovers as well as culture and history enthusiasts on this route. The continuously marked path with the bright orange cyclist symbol leads over roads and paved forest paths. It is suitable for experienced touring cyclists.

Directions
- The cycling route starts from Plauen and goes through the Burgstein area towards the Saxon-Bavarian border, then along the Saxon-Czech border to Bad Elster. Here the route turns east towards Landwüst. It then continues via Markneukirchen, Schöneck, Muldenberg towards the Vogtland border to Eibenstock.
