The cycle route marked with a lime leaf in the Sorbian colors blue (módry), red (čerwjeny), white (běły) north of Bautzen, between Wartha at Lake Olba and Panschwitz-Kuckau and a circular route Wartha-Weißenberg-Wartha, offers the opportunity to get to know Sorbian culture in Upper Lusatia. Museums and local museums provide an authentic picture of life of earlier generations and convey interesting information about traditions, customs, and costumes. Also, many craftsmen gladly give insight into their work and monuments point to Sorbian personalities.

With the themed route „Sorbian Impressions“ we offer you a special cultural tourism experience. It is a recommendation for
all visitors to Upper Lusatia who want to get to know authentic aspects of the modern everyday life of the Sorbs, gain very personal impressions
and experience traditions and customs up close. Starting from Schleife, the route goes south towards Weißwasser and continues to Nochten until Boxberg. Afterwards, the route leads through the Upper Lusatian heath and pond landscape, which has partly been designated a UNESCO biosphere reserve.Tour information
