Hike between Eichhörnchengrund and Saubachtal

After a short section of the Elbe cycle path, the route leads into Eichhörnchengrund and reaches Germany's oldest still functional model mill, the Schulze Mill, after about 500 meters. Ascending, you reach Röhrsdorf and from there the Saubach valley.

Then it goes back to Constappel and crosses the Elbe again by ferry.

Directions & Parking facilities

Getting there
Access via A4 in Dresden or exit A13 from Berlin direction. Then reach the starting point via B6.
Public transportation
Access by bus line 404 from Meißen or line 400 from Radebeul/Coswig. Crossing from Kötitz to Gauernitz is possible with the Elbe ferry.
