Steam train and walking stick

From the hiking parking lot, follow the green markings in the direction of Neudorf. Whether you follow the Bimmelbahn adventure trail or take the Fichtelbergbahn - both are fun. A stop in Cranzahl, in the 1st Smoking Man Museum, is worthwhile in any case. Over 2000 funny noses are waiting there for curious "noses". From the Smoking Man Museum, turn right towards Bärenstein, cross a small bridge over the tracks of the Erzgebirge railroad and walk uphill past the gardens to reach the Cranzahl dam. From there, follow the ridge path (blue line) up to the Bärenstein. From there, return to the hiking parking lot, either along the road or via the Königssteig.
