Safety guidelines
The FIS code of conduct for cross-country skiers and the trail rules of the German Ski Association apply on the trail.
- Every cross-country skier must behave in a way that does not endanger or harm others.
- Marking and information signs must be observed. Pedestrians and dogs are not allowed to enter the entire width of the trail.
- As a rule, you must ski in the right lane - including groups.
- Overtaking is allowed on the left or right; the skier in front does not need to leave the track.
- At night and in extremely bad weather conditions, ski tours should be avoided.
- When resting and catching your breath, the trail must be left.
Please note:- Mutual assistance is a matter of course and also a duty in emergencies. The trail is monitored by the mountain rescue service (emergency call 112).
- If the trail is wide enough, freestyle technique (skating) is permitted between the direction lanes; however, these must not be damaged.
- It is safe to ski in a snowplow position between the direction lanes.
- When skating, the tracks must not be damaged.
