From the starting point, hike through the Tännichtgrund past the former Teufelsmühle to the "Five Brothers." From here, proceed to the upper reservoir of the pumped-storage power plant.

Along the Lotzebach, you reach Cossebaude. There you have the opportunity to visit and dine at the Fehrmann winery. Afterwards, descend back into the Elbe valley via the Herrenkuppe. The Lotzebach leads you to the Niederwartha bridge, where you cross the Elbe and reach the Coswig-Kötitz ferry landing stage.
