Directions
The hike starts at the parking lot in the "Hinterer Grund" and leads into the nature reserve "Schwarzwassertal". Slightly off the path, after 500 m on the right, the portal of the "Tief Blühend Frisch Glück Stolln" can be seen as an old mining testimony. After about 1 km, the wild romantic part of the valley with various rock formations begins. After another approx. 4.5 km, you reach the "Steinerne Brücke" (stone bridge) to the "Grüner Graben". The altitude here is 750 m. The return path now begins to the right towards "Katzenstein", always following the flow direction along the "Grüner Graben". After 7 km, you reach the viewing rock "Katzenstein". From there, the Arnoldweg (to the right) or Weintraubenweg to the left can be taken as a return path to the starting point.
