Additional information

The classic terrain therapy is a specialized form of exercise therapy practiced at a health resort. It is characterized by exercise intensity tailored to the individual’s fitness level, full-body training, time spent outdoors, and the experience of the natural landscape. It is performed while walking at a normal or brisk pace. Terrain therapy helps normalize the body’s autonomic functions: the cardiovascular system operates more efficiently, respiratory function is stimulated, muscles and joints are strengthened, and overall metabolism is positively influenced.
