The Terrainkurweg trail to the visitor mine in Zinnwald is a short, varied hike through the beautiful natural landscape of the Eastern Ore Mountains. The trail leads through secluded forests, past the Scharpsitze (one of the 14 eight-thousanders in the Eastern Ore Mountains). The visitor mine, with its historic tin-washing facility, is an important historical testament to the Erzgebirge/Krusnohori mining region, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
This tour is stroller-friendly and accessible to wheelchair users.

Additional information
- The classic terrain therapy is a special form of exercise therapy practiced at a health resort. It is characterized by exercise intensity tailored to the individual’s fitness level, full-body training, time spent outdoors, and experiencing the natural landscape. It is performed through normal or brisk walking. Terrain therapy helps normalize the body’s autonomic functions: the cardiovascular system operates more efficiently, respiratory function is stimulated, muscles and joints are strengthened, and overall metabolism is positively influenced.
