Additional information
- The classic terrain therapy is a special form of exercise therapy offered at health resorts. It is characterized by exercise intensity tailored to the individual’s fitness level, full-body training, time spent outdoors, and the experience of the natural landscape. It is performed while walking at a normal or brisk pace. Terrain therapy helps normalize the body’s autonomic functions: the cardiovascular system works more efficiently, respiratory function is stimulated, muscles and joints are strengthened, and overall metabolism is positively influenced.
