A walk along the crest of the dam at the large Galgenteich—with a view of the Geisingberg.

The Terrainkurweg trail around the large Galgenteich is a short, leisurely hike right along the water. The trail passes the natural swimming area and offers a wonderful view of the Geisingberg and the Kahleberg. In the spring, it’s worth taking a detour to the unique orchid meadows.

This tour is stroller-friendly and accessible to wheelchair users.

Additional information

The classic terrain therapy is a special form of exercise therapy at a health resort. It is characterized by exercise intensity tailored to the individual’s fitness level, full-body training, time spent outdoors, and experiencing the natural landscape. It is performed at a normal or brisk walking pace. Terrain therapy helps normalize the body’s autonomic functions: the cardiovascular system works more efficiently, respiratory function is stimulated, muscles and joints are strengthened, and overall metabolism is positively influenced.
