Directions

The circular hiking trail is based on Karl Tröger's historical nature trail and is maintained by the Geising branch of the Erzgebirgszweigverein. It offers many beautiful views of Geising and the surrounding area. The trail is suitable for hikers as well as nature lovers, families and landscape painters and photographers. It takes you from the town center via Leitenweg, Hofeweg to Löwenhainer Höhe to the highest point with a magnificent panoramic view. Continue via Lindenallee to the Anton Günther monument, around the Kohlhaukuppe, to the Aschergraben and via the historic Geisinger Bobbahn back to Altenberger Straße.
You can obtain an informative flyer with directions and a map free of charge from Berghotel Schellhas.
