Directions

You start the hike at the church, going uphill to the left towards FloĂŸmĂ¼hler StraĂŸe. The ridge path leads you right to the sports field, the highest point of our route. Along the way, there is a beautiful panorama with views of the chess village Borstendorf, the Ore Mountains, or Augustusburg. Upon reaching the shelter, you see the "Engeldorf" GrĂ¼nhainichen on the opposite mountain. After descending into the valley, the Flöhatal hiking trail leads left past the areas renatured in 2012 into the district of FloĂŸmĂ¼hle. At the new rest area, a signboard commemorates the Schönherr entrepreneur family. You can now go left or enjoy the romance of the valley a bit longer. At the next junction, go left uphill again via the Plattenweg towards Borstendorf.
