From Niederau station, you reach the charming Oberau water castle via the Kalkofen. After a visit, continue to the tunnel monument and towards Gellertberg. Through the Pressgrund, the hike leads to the Lässig/Richter winery. After a wine tasting, you walk along the Höhenweg Wartturm, König-Albert-Turm, and Friedensturm. Past Lauben castle, the path leads to Fuchsberg and Spitzberg and down to Spitzgrundteich.

From Meißen, you reach the starting point via Niederauer Straße. From Großenhain, follow the S81 towards Weinböhla.Public transportationS-Bahn line 1 runs from Meißen to Dresden. You can reach Niederau by regional trains from Leipzig, Elsterwerda, and Dresden. Additionally, bus lines 421 and 459 run from Weinböhla and Meißen to the starting point.
