Zabeltitz - the baroque wedding village. The combination of splendid palaces and a unique flora and fauna make a visit to Zabeltitz especially appealing.

The princely palace, a baroque castle, forms the entrance to a charming baroque garden. Created in the 18th century on behalf of the Count of Wackerbarth, it is one of the largest and best preserved gardens in Saxony modeled after the French style. The baroque backdrop of the palace is today a popular place for weddings. The history of the village’s farming culture is told by the farmers' museum. In the extensive floodplain landscape around Zabeltitz, fascinating nature discoveries are possible. With some luck, you may encounter kingfishers, grey herons, beavers, or otters.
