The circular route runs along the ridge trail over several adventurous paths to the raised bog at Siebensäure. On forest paths, it goes back over the ski jumps to the starting point.

The shady circular route runs along the ridge trail over several adventurous paths to the raised bog at Siebensäure. After a typical Ore Mountains stop, well-developed forest paths lead over the ski jumps back to the starting point.

Directions

The starting point of the hike is the valley station of the Fichtelberg cable car. Following Vierenstraße, you reach the Rotes Vorwerk car park. Past the Jens Weißflog apartment hotel, you walk along the Yellow Path towards Neudorf. You follow Pförtelstraße to the excursion point Siebensäure inn. Towards Kurort Oberwiesenthal, you walk back along Pförtelstraße to Gifthüttenstraße. Down the clearing path past the Waldeck guesthouse, you reach Philosophenweg. It leads you under the cables of the Fichtelberg cable car to the ski jumps and the Schönjungferngrund nature reserve. From there, it's just a stone’s throw back to the valley station.
