From the car park on Thumer Strasse, cross Thumer Strasse and follow the marked winter hiking trail westwards, parallel to the cross-country ski trails, until you reach Teichstrasse. From here, follow the markers across the field to the right. At the edge of the forest, you have the option of continuing to the campsite at the Greifenbach reservoir (and the Greifensteine ‒ not shown here). Alternatively, turn right again and walk back to Thumer Strasse following the forest line. A gloriously sunny trail. Connection to Tour 1 and Tour 3, to the Greifenbach reservoir, to the town area via Thumer Strasse or Alte Hormersdorfer Strasse.
