Parallel to the Natzschung valley, there is a very nice path to the Kleine Seinbach (ridge trail). Before, you can enjoy the view from the Stößerfelsen. On the way back towards Dörfelbachtal, you pass the Schaal monument; the route returns to Saigerhütte via the Königsweg.

Starting point:
Hiking parking lot Saigerhütte area Grünthal or Grünthal train station
Route (circular hike):
From the hiking parking lot Saigerhütte area or Grünthal train station, the path leads on the E3 (blue) long-distance trail towards Pföbe. Before crossing the S216, you reach the ridge trail (blue), which you follow further. At the fork at Pföbe the path leads over the Sedanweg, the Stößerfelsenweg uphill to the Stößerfelsen (683 m, rest and viewpoint). The ridge trail (blue) continues at a steady height to the Kleine Steinbach. At this junction, the ridge trail is left. You continue straight towards Wettinplatz on the Prinzenweg. At Wettinplatz, the path leads to the Hammerweg, which is followed downhill. The Königsweg is reached EB (red). The Dörfelbachtal crosses past the Forester Schaal monument. The paved forest path leads downhill to the compressor station. At the junction Heidenweg, follow the direction towards the commercial area. The marking EB (red) leads back to the Saigerhütte area parking lot.
Alternative route:
From Wettinplatz, continue straight on the Roter Hirschweg. On the right, a detour to Sophienstein (703.6 m) is possible. The path descends to the next junction where you head towards the commercial area. There, the long-distance trail EB (red) is reached, which you follow back to the starting point.
